About

I am an award-winning Interior Designer and a two-time O1 visa recipient from the United States, granted to individuals who demonstrate extraordinary ability in their field. In addition to my extensive Interior Design training, I hold certificates in Feng Shui Consulting, Home Staging, and Floral Design.
With nearly three decades of experience, I have proven myself as a creative force in the international design world. I have contributed to over 350 projects across Turkey, Europe, and the United States, spanning homes, offices, exhibitions, and retail spaces. My furniture and packaging designs have earned international recognition for their originality.
I founded Retro Design Istanbul, an Istanbul-based interior design company with almost 30 years of history. As my work gained recognition, I expanded internationally by establishing Retro Design New York in 2017. The New York-based studio specializes in interior design, home staging, virtual design, Feng Shui consulting, and floral and event design, serving clients worldwide.
In 2017, I was honored with the Excellence in Design Award by the Izmir Arts, Culture, and Design Foundation. I also hold a patent for one of my packaging designs and continue to develop new designs, highlighting my commitment to innovation. My brands, including Feray Alpay, Studionline by Feray Alpay, and Retro Design NYC, are all registered trademarks. I am also a proud member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Embracing Digital Design
The pandemic inspired me to adapt and evolve my business model. Today, I offer virtual interior design and decoration services through online platforms, making professional design accessible for a wide range of budgets.
As an E-Commerce entrepreneur, I also offer curated pet accessories and home décor items on platforms like Amazon, Etsy, Instagram, and my own websites.
